Welcome to beautiful Criffel Station. Come and experience life on an authentic family-run working deer farm and high country station on one of our farm tours. Criffel Station integrates farming with tourism underpinned by a One Health philosophy…
A visit to Criffel Station is an experience not to be missed! See animals farmed in an exceptional natural environment. Take in panoramic views of the Upper Clutha Valley. Experience authentic country hospitality and style. And enjoy Criffel for an hour, a day or longer (if you combine your tour with one of our charming farm stay options).
This tour takes you deeper into all that is Criffel, view the awe-inspiring beauty of Lake Wanaka, Lake Hawea, the Wanaka basin and the Southern Alps, from the very peak of the Criffel Range – a staggering 1300 metres above sea level. And finish with a gourmet morning or afternoon tea at one of Wanaka’s most impressive picnic spots.
Get close to our friendly animals on an Explore Tour and get a chance to feed them. They love having their photo taken too! Enjoy an informative and hands-on introduction to deer farming, beekeeping and authentic Kiwi farm life.
